My Other Helper

I’ve told you about everyone helping me lately, but I forgot to mention my smallest, most important helper…Ashley!  She has really stepped up in helping with things around the house.  I am so proud of her!  When my cell phone rings, she will run to get it and bring it to me.  When Van makes [...]

Pregnancy Update

Since the hospital episode, I have been seeing my doctor twice a week.  They have been doing a stress test (NST) of the baby at every visit and an ultrasound every other visit.  They keep talking about inducing me, but every time I go they are pleased with how my blood pressure is doing, so [...]

Boating in January

Sorry this post is a little late.  It’s not like I’ve been preoccupied or anything   Anyway, the weather has been so mild here that we took Ashley out on the boat at the end of January.  She had a great time, despite having to wear her life jacket (that she hates!)  I’ve got to [...]

Boat Show

Since I’m on bed rest, Van took Ashley to the boat show this morning.  It was a fun thing for them to do and a good excuse to get out of the house.  He sent me this picture and said “We bought one.”  LOL

Chick-Fil-A

Chick-Fil-A is our favorite food!  In fact, I’m not ashamed to admit that we go there at least once a week (hey, don’t judge a pregnant woman )  Ashley calls it “Moo” (for the Chick-Fil-A cow) and can spot the nearest one from a mile away.  It’s hard not to pass one at lunch time [...]

Crib Assembly

The little guy’s nursery furniture was delivered this week!  Wahoo!  We received everything but the chair (which should come early February).  Luckily, the dresser was already assembled.  So all Van had to do was put the crib together.  It was such a surreal experience having Ashley here to help us.  All I could think of [...]
