The little guy’s nursery furniture was delivered this week!  Wahoo!  We received everything but the chair (which should come early February).  Luckily, the dresser was already assembled.  So all Van had to do was put the crib together.  It was such a surreal experience having Ashley here to help us.  All I could think of was sitting in her room 2.5 years ago putting together her crib, when it was just the two of us.  This time, there were three of us and Ashley was here to help put together her brother’s crib.  And boy did she love to help!  It was so cute watching her look up to Van as he screwed in the screws and assembled it all together.  She would hand him the screws and wing nuts and then inspect his work after he put a piece together.  She also wanted to help and do what he was doing, so he would hold pieces together so she could screw them in, too.  It was just a really sweet moment.  The little guy’s crib was definitely put together with lots of love…from all of us!
