We have lots of Apple products in our house.  From iPods, iPhones, and iPad to a Mac mini; we are lovers of all things “Apple”.  So it’s no surprise that Ashley loves them, too.  We even turned the reigns of the iPad over to her because she was using it more than we were.  She’s got all sorts of apps and videos on there.  And she knows how to work it, too!  She also loves using my iPhone.  Not only does she play with it while we are home, but I’ve also found that it’s a good distraction for her while we are out running errands.  On one of our our recent outings to Target, she had exhausted all of her snacks and was getting impatient with me.  What’s a Mom to do?  I gave her my iPhone (she knew it was in my purse and was on the verge of throwing a fit if I didn’t give it to her anyway).  So for the sake of my sanity, and that of the other Target customers, I gave it to her.  At first, she was looking through the pictures.  Cool, she’s happy and entertained.  Next thing I know, Cee Lo Green’s “Forget You” started blasting through my phone as we’re walking down the cereal aisle.  Oh yeah, she knows how to play songs, too.  After the initial embarrassment, I had to laugh because Ashley was swaying in the shopping cart, bobbing her head up and down with such contentment.  Instead of ruining the moment, I just turned the volume down and let her continue her little happy dance.  Surprisingly,  I ended up getting more smiles than stares as we walked around Target dancing to Cee Lo Green

In addition to being a lil’ DJ, she also likes taking self portraits with my phone.  While most pictures are of the floor or ceiling, she does manage to capture of few cute ones!
