We went to Sea World today. Spent about half the day out there, and will be going back tomorrow. We lucked out and got our second day free, so it’s nice to not feel like you have to cram it all in to one day. Plus, Ashley was ready to come home and take a nap, so that’s what we did. We were able to see the flamingos, dolphins, sea turtles, sting rays, penguins, and the Clyde and Seamore Take Pirate Island show. Ashley loved the show! It featured seals, otters, and a huge walrus. Ashley sat there for the whole show and didn’t get upset one bit. She was really entertained by the animals. And when the audience laughed (it was a comedy show, too), Ashley clapped enthusiastically. So that was a lot of fun! We tried to make it to the Shamu show, but by that time Ashley was too tired. So we came back to the room for lunch and a nap (Ashley, me and Mom all took a nap!). And we’ll try again tomorrow.
After our nap, we went to Downtown Disney. That was fun. Ate dinner at Wolfgang Puck’s restaurant where Ashley thoroughly enjoyed her chicken fingers and chocolate milk. It was the most we’ve ever paid for a kid’s meal – ten bucks! It was worth it though. Found a neat candy/bakery shop where they make the most awesome candy apples! And some cute cupcakes, too
Dad got me a Minnie Mouse candy apple. It took me a while to cut into it because it is was so pretty! I just stared at it for a while. But once I took a bite, it was heavenly. It definitely tastes as good as it looks!

Sounds like such a fun day! I can see Ashley now just watching and enjoying the animal show. How fun! Glad the girls were able to get in a nap (what a way to spend a day!). Yay for the free 2nd day at Sea World. Hopefully you'll get a chance to see Shamu.
Your apple looks divine. I would have had to stare at it for a bit too before cutting into it. :) Ok, are you going to explain the band-aids on Ashley's knees? :)
LOL! The day we got here (Saturday), she fell and scraped her right knee. Then she fell again on Sunday and scraped her left knee. Luckily, Monday came and went with no injuries! She's never had the opportunity to run on so much cement before :)
