Since it was our first full day here, we just sat at the pool and relaxed. They have cabanas that you can rent, and we were lucky enough to get the last one. It was awesome! Provided lots of shade, had a fan, flat screen TV, fridge, loungers and chairs. We stocked the fridge with beer, water and soda and just spent the day out there. And I was happy Ashley could stay in the shade. She got in the pool a few times, but really wasn’t into it. She would rather hang out in the cabana and run around exploring. She loves to people watch and would just stand on the sidewalk watching people walk by. She would wave to the people she liked. We strolled around the resort and found a nice playground where she liked going down the slide and playing on the equipment. There are nice grills here you can use, so we grilled hamburgers and hot dogs for dinner. Then ate in our cabana. It was a nice ending to a relaxing day!
I absolutely LOVE the picture of your Mom and Ashley out on the balcany sitting! And Van's already got some sun on his face (or was that from fishing?). :)
Sounds like you're having an amazing time already. How fun that you can have a day to just sit and relax with no real agenda. Love that you got the last cabana too (living it up, huh?). :)
And holy cow...Ashley's swimsuit bottoms are SO cute (ruffles). They don't make cute things like that for boys. :)
