Ashley and I threw a Piggies and Paws Party today.  If you haven’t heard of Piggies and Paws, you can check out their website here.  It is basically a really cool way to turn your child’s hand and foot prints into works of art!  I had some made last year; we kept one and gave the others as Christmas presents to the grandparents.  So now I wanted some made for myself.  Plus I thought it would be neat to see how much Ashley’s hands and feet have grown in 6 months.  Marriana is the artist that came to our house and she was so sweet and great with the kids. After everyone was done getting their prints captured, we just hung out and let the kids play.  I love watching Ashley interact with her friends.  They are just so cute!  And they play really well together.  They spent a good 10 minutes chasing each other around the house, screaming at one another.  I made a fruit salad for everyone to snack on and I think Ashley ate the majority of it!  You will notice her red lips in the pictures from all the strawberries she ate.  Ashley had such a fun day that she even took a nap after everyone left.  Now I just have to wait patiently to get our prints.  I can’t wait to see the finished products!
