Okay, here is my “snow” post a week late.  Sorry about the delay.  I had the post drafted, but never got around to publishing it because Ashley and I went to the beach for a few days while we had some work done to our house.  And I didn’t have access to my pictures.  Then a nasty stomach virus invaded our home and knocked us down for a few days.  I was the first victim, then Ashley, and even Toby couldn’t get away unscathed.  We are just praying that Van doesn’t get it.  Anyhow, here is my snow post.  Just pretend like you were reading it last week

As many of you know, we had our first snow this weekend!  I think the official measurement was about 2 inches.  It was so pretty.  Ashley was napping when it started (we had just gotten home from the Christmas party).  So she was greeted by a nice surprise when she awoke.  It ended up accumulating much more than I expected, and was so very pretty at night.  I love how the snow covered ground brightens up the dark night.  So we made some chili, invited friends over for dinner, and sat by the fire.  It was a wonderful way to experience the first snow of the season!
