I made tacos for dinner tonight. Fed Ashley some baby food that she wasn’t too interested in. I wouldn’t be either. It was Gerber’s Chicken Noodle Soup. Blah. So I thought I’d give her some taco meat and cheese to see if she wanted to eat that. Not only did she eat it, but she LOVED it!! I haven’t seen her enjoy “real” food this much since I used to make homemade purees for her. I’ve tried giving her other finger foods, but she just plays with it and throws it on the floor for the boys to eat. She will eat it if I put it in her mouth, but won’t feed herself. Well, not this time! She took that cheese and beef, and would grab a handful and shovel it in! She loved it so much so would cram her little hand in as far as it would go. So funny! It’s not like she would take a piece and put it in her mouth. She would grab a handful and put her whole hand in her mouth!
Some other new things she is doing are waving “Hello” and “Goodbye” to people. She does it first thing every morning when we come down the stairs. Like we are making our presence known to the boys. I always tell them good morning, and she waves as if to say good morning to them, too. She is also giving kisses now. She knows it involves your mouth and leaning forward, but for some reason she opens her mouth to give you a kiss. It’s really cute though! Such a sweet little person she is turning into!
How fun! I love that she loves tacos. Boy, that sounds good right now. :) How cute that she's waving and giving kisses.
