I got my “Your baby is 7 months old” email today from babycenter.com.  They email me every week about child development as your baby grows.

7 months old huh?  Really?  You sure?  Are you telling me that I no longer have a newborn?  She doesn’t need to be woken up in the middle of the night to feed?  No more taking care of the umbilical cord?  Or supporting her head as you hold her?  Swaddling when she’s put to bed at night?    No more “sleep when the baby sleeps”?  Sigh…

7 months may seem like a long time to you, but for me it has gone by in a flash!
