This year Easter was a little different.  Normally we would go to the beach to visit my parents, but we were having yard work done here at the house and didn’t want to leave the landscapers unsupervised.  So we stayed in Raleigh for Easter.  I can’t think of the last time I was actually home for a holiday!  It was nice, but I did miss not being at the beach with my parents and sister.

Since the weather is FINALLY warm enough for dresses, little Miss Ashley was dolled up all weekend!  I am so excited she can now wear all of the cute dresses that have been hanging in her closet since before she was born.  She has so many dresses; picking out an Easter dress was not a problem!  I even went out and got some hair bows to showcase her pretty hair  

As an aside, isn’t it funny that the man who never liked getting his picture taken is now asking to have his picture taken with our little girl?  Instead of complaining and shying away from the camera, Van gladly poses now with his daughter!
