Santa was Good to Me!

We had a very Merry Christmas in the Murray household this year!  I got up Christmas morning and felt like a kid again.  I was so excited for Ashley even though she didn’t understand what was going on.  And I expect as she gets older Christmas will become even more fun for us!

We spent Christmas Eve with Van’s parents.  That was fun.  We ate, opened presents, and ooed and ahhed over Ashley.  She was all dolled up in her Christmas dress.  Then we went to the beach to see my parents on Christmas Day.  After we had our own little family time Christmas  morning.  Van had the fire going as all of our “children” (four-legged included) opened presents.  It was a cozy and fun morning.  Once we packed up what felt like the entire house, we were on our way to the beach.  We looked like the Beverly Hillbillies driving down I-40.  The boys were in their crate in the back of the truck and Ashley was in the backseat along with all of our stuff piled high to the ceiling.  I don’t know how Van even saw out the window.  Between our clothes, Ashley’s clothes, toys, baby bathtub, pack n play, diapers, Christmas gifts and all of the dog food, treats, and dog toys we had a truck full!

Ashley slept during the whole 3 hour trip!  And she was so good while we were there.  She transitioned very well and continued to sleep through every night.  The “new” crib and environment had no affect on her.  She was still her cute little happy self.  We did have to make one pit stop on the way home for a diaper change and feeding.  But after that, she was good to go.  She is such a good traveling baby!

Here are some pictures from Ashley’s first Christmas…
