Well, we made it through our first Thanksgiving with Ashley.  I say “made it through” like it was an ordeal.  It was actually rather relaxing compared to years past.  We didn’t have many folks at the house therefore we didn’t have to make much food.  So it was a nice, chill Thanksgiving this year.  Which was much appreciated.  It was just us, Mom and Dad, and Melanie and Brian.  We had nice fellowship, good food, wine, and plenty of sweets.  Melanie’s homemade cheescake was ‘da bomb!    Instead of watching football we played Super Mario Bros. on the Nintendo.  Yes people, I’m talking the original Nintendo!  Mom kept it from when I was little and it is in mint condition.  Forget the fancy schmancy Xbox.  Nintendo is where it’s at!  Then later that night, we continued our tradition of watching Christmas Vacation.  We watch it every year at Thanksgiving.
