I’m 35 weeks now – yay! This week is turning out better than last week. I relaxed a lot this weekend. Slept in on Saturday, watched movies, read books, and went to church on Sunday. It was a very restful weekend. I stayed off my feet as much as I could without going stir crazy.
Went to the doctor yesterday and unfortunately, my blood pressure was still the same (even after taking it twice). I was hoping it would have lowered but I’m just glad it didn’t get any higher. Her heartbeat sounded strong and her movements are still good. The doctor wants to do an ultrasound next week to check her growth. They are going to continue to monitor me closely.
I have been feeling better though. I think the half-days at work and resting in the afternoons is helping with my energy level. And the napping and reading does help to clear my mind and not stress. I’m feeling better about the whole thing and I am hopeful that everything will be okay.
The boys have been really good at letting me lay down and relax when I get home from work. Here’s how we spend our afternoons on bed-rest!
