Labor Day Weekend and 33 Weeks

We went to Holden Beach for Labor Day weekend. As usual, we had a great time! Saturday was bright and sunny. Spent most of the day laying by the pool, relaxing, and swimming with the boys. You’d think it was Disney World to them! They absolutely love going to the beach. They spend most of their time either swimming in the pool or swimming in the waterway. It’s like doggie heaven down there. They always play so hard and rarely stop to rest. In fact, it never fails that one of them will get hurt; this time it was Toby. We think he pulled his bicep muscle. He and Blake were playing tug and all of a sudden Toby yelped and started favoring his right front leg. It was so pitiful. He would walk around limping on 3 legs, trying not to put pressure on his right front leg. He could barely even lay down. So I got on the floor with him and tried to make him comfortable. He was tired and wanted to lay down but couldn’t. So he would lean on me and whine. Gave him Tylenol, a blanket, and pillow. Eventually the Tylenol helped ease his pain and he was able to lay down for a bit. He took it easy for the next couple days and is now fully recovered.

Sunday was overcast so Van and I went shopping at the outlets in Myrtle Beach. We bought Lil’ Pumpkin a romper at Bass Pro Shops. So now she’ll have a cute outfit to wear when we go to Daddy’s fishing tournaments! We left on Monday to come home. It was bitter sweet because that was our last trip to the beach as a couple. It’s hard to imagine that next time we go down there, we will have our little girl with us!

I am 33 weeks now. Not much has changed except that I have gotten bigger (or at least I feel that way!). And I’m getting tired again. We went to the doctor this week and her heartbeat is still strong. The doctor estimated that she weighs 5 3/4 pounds. Can you believe that? Almost 6 pounds at 33 weeks! I’m telling you, she’s going to be a big healthy girl. I still think she’s going to come early. Her head was down, so that’s a relief that she is in the right position. And she is moving a lot. Even when I’m walking around the grocery store or standing up at work I feel her moving around. I am getting more and more anxious as the days go by!
